We Love To Tell Our Story
Sharing the message of Africa Arise with the Body of Christ is a passion for Mike Arnold and his team. After a decade of service in Africa, he continues to inform and inspire Church communities in the US with this Evangelical message and opportunity.
Africa Arise is giving life-changing Gospel truths, core academic programs, and loving care to the IDP children of Nigeria. There are opportunities for your church to use its gifts of giving and prayer for the children. In our schools, the children’s lives are pressured daily with the ravages of persecution, hatred, and poverty. They have come to understand as Mike and the Africa Arise team of pastors and school directors minister truth and compassion, that the Body of Christ has not forgotten them.
We hope to present a media-rich introduction to your church and assist your community in growing in the grace of Giving and Evangelism.

PRAYER REQUESTS
Africa Arise team members in Nigeria and the U.S. stay in close contact. Praise God for technology solutions! Each Camp has unique needs, but some elements are consistent. You can confidently pray for God’s intervention in these specific areas:
Safety- There is a consistent concern for safety for the children and their families. The religious persecution continues and can flare up unexpectedly with raids and agression. The presence of the camps is an irritation to the locals.
Food Supply- Fathers of the camps work outside the camp to bring back what they can from small jobs and farming, etc. There are occasional gifts from generous individuals, in addition to a few NGO’s that subsidize meal programs, but it is definitely not enough and not consistent.
Health- The 6 month rainy season, the tarp shacks, and no plumbing create a very unhealthy dynamic. Malaria, typhoid, and malnutrition are chronic. There is no onsight healthcare or clinics at this point.
Spiritual Life- The people are weary and hungry for God. There are many Christians in our camps and also moderate Muslims. We show the love of Christ through serving and also the sharing of the Gospel story and scriptures. Singing and celebrating Christ in our gatherings brings our camp families together and we honor Christ in this way.
Administration- Our dedicated teachers and administrators are extraordinary people dedicated to seeing these families arise! It is a challenging job and they often lack necessary supplies, but they carry on the work of the Kingdom through Arise Academies.
